Mornings; Four O’clocks.

(In bed)

They say it’s a lonely place.

You know, the time when Dark meets Dawn, when the cold has got no chill.

(Get it?)

When the writer writes for writing, and sense makes no sense…

(When you say a lot of things about things to avoid saying things about a person).

Too many thoughts; knowledge knocking, bustling, bristling; racing for the surface. It’s too early…

Thoughts of things, of life but mostly, of a person.

A human.

Maybe the ones we really care about are not the ones we sleep with…

Maybe they are the thoughts that wake us up; the ones we wake up with.
